For the first time since 2006, members of the Saginaw River Marine Historical Society will be opening the Saginaw River Rear Range Light for public tours. $7 for adults, $3 for children. Luckily I have neither work nor class, and since I'm home in Michigan, I'm only a few hours drive away!!

I wish I could have had more advance notice of this, especially since I was in the area two weekends ago. Is there any future planning in making this a yearly event along with the Tall Ships celebration, I wonder ?
