Here's a link for a great photo of spring Point LH.

If it doesn't take you directly to it it's #16 out of 17 photos.

Nice picture, Dennis! Some of the others were certainly thought provoking!

How long must this battle go on between Israel and Palestine? It touches the heart to see the people on both sides suffering, especially the children!

God bless these poor people who continue to endure this needless suffering. There must be a solution somewhere, let's hope and pray that someone finds it soon!

My best,

Nice moonrise shot for sure! Good color in the moon, still plenty of light on the lighthouse (maybe a little too much, but you take what you get when it comes to moon photography).

As for the fighting, the Jews and Muslims have been fighting since Isaac and Ishmael... These little geopolitical squabbles we're seeing today are just microcosms of the greater fundamental struggle between the two groups. But it will be solved some day in the future, of that we can be sure.

You know i don't recall making any political statement with this thread.

Let's keep it to the subject at hand please- no matter that the other subject is one we should be concerned about- just not here in this paticular thread.

I saw it in the Star Ledger as well and went on a search and finally found it.

Yes it is much better in color - although a clear fine quality black and white would probably look fine as well.

... and Mike, are you saying Isaac had a "petty squabble" with the deckhand of the Pequod?

Dennis, you know as well as anyone that we sometimes go off on tangents here. It's almost like having an actual conversation with people. 8O We're all adults after all, I think we can handle it.

Hersh,

Yes you are correct but in the case of politics or religion- and in this particular case both- things can go south very quickly on sites like this.

It's usually a good idea to nip those type of tangent's in the bud- even if I'd like to respond myself.
