Now living a lot closer to Vermont, and with "step-relatives" who live there, I hope to get to finally visit Colchester Reef this Spring. We went for a family Christmas visit in December, but no time for lighthouses then.

Colchester Reef lighthouse is currently up on house mover's timbers. They're building a new foundation underneath the lighthouse. I was by there last Sunday.

This was shot last Monday morning from the road that runs by the Shelburne Museum, which wasn't open. You can clearly see the lighthouse up on beams and blocks. A crew was working under it on the new foundation when I went by.
