Here is a link to the Town of Manteo website for information and history about the lighthouse. It is the most factual information out there at this time. The waterfront is all torn up now (they are re-doing the boarwalks) but I hope it is all put back together before the visitors come. It is okay in front of the LH though.

The Town would love to have your photos submitted if you have any of the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse. There is a page for LH photos and they occassionaly change the photo on the home page. So...send them on in!

No luck with the bell yet. Funds may also be a factor with this. As you know maritime antiques are way up there!
