I've now added some pictures and some links of the Spurn lightship to the Withernsea Lighthouse page at http://www.whiskyroom.co.uk/withernsealighthouse.html

Thanks Buster, just couldn't believe the lighthouse didn't have a proper website, when to me it's the main attraction of this little town.

Thanks, Johnny! I enjoyed visiting the sites that you posted.
For some reason I always find it interesting to read and view
lighthouses that sit in the middle of a town (city, etc.). In the
states it is fairly rare to see them in the downtown business
areas.

Nice Work!

 I think this is a pretty rare one for the UK as from the pictures in the sites listed you can see how far back it is with nearly all the town in front of it. Only a small amount of housing, the schools and the cemetry quite far off are behind it.

It happened again. I checked the web site out and really got into it.

I would highly recommend checking this web site out and also taking a look at the links listed.

Thank you Carole and Epona for your kind words. The trustees of the Withernsea Lighthouse are going to send me some new pictures over the next few weeks and I hope you enjoy those as well.
