I've spent a lot of time in the last few months redesigning my photo site to accommodate an easier interface on the user side and on my side.

http://www.lightdreamer.com

I finally launched it!

It is much simpler than before, one thing you might want to look into is 'next' and 'previous' image buttons. That way there wouldn't be so much hitting the back button.

I had that planned, I just had to do it two different ways depending on the category of photos. Most categories have photos, the lighthouses category has SUBcategories, so I had to pass some different information, but it works now.

No glitches seen from New Jersey ... works fine ... almost glides back and forth ... item to item ... page to page ...

Much success with it!

Nice site, nice photography, easy to navigate, even for aliens like me 8) . Not very important, but when I look at a portrait orientated photo, the frame is just a tiny bit to high and a scroll bar appears in the right of my screen (I use 1280x1024 screen resolution). It's the bar with purchase info that "falls from" the screen, so if selling is a main goal, it might be worth to see if you can make the frame a bit lower.

The purchase part is secondary so that's why it's on the bottom. I do full frame (600x800) on the portrait sizes, so they can be a but long. Depends on how many toolbars or status bars you have in your internet browser.

Thanks for checking it out!

Oops!!! I changed the word "worse" in my last sentence into "worth". For Dutch ears it sounds almost similar, but it is not, of course

The pages are attractive and interesting, Ross. Good flow and easy to navigate. [A lot of very nice photography that I've never seen before.]

For what it's worth, I think it is an extremely attractive and tasteful site!
