Are you related to a lighthouse keeper?

Are you related to a lighthouse keeper? I am not, but my stepdad (whom I am not fond of) is. I don't know exactly what relation he is.
I know my stepdad grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan, which was the location of the lighthouse.
The lightkeeper's name is John Bryan.

No, I'm not either. Except for the boats my ancestors rode from Europe to get here, circa 1840s, we have all been landlubbers.

Shame that no Grassy Island lights exist now. The Island is still there, though....

There's a couple of new lights that have sprung up along the Detroit River though...Tri-Centennial and Mariner's Memorial. Check them out.
