Just incase anyway hasn't seen the 2008 list, here is the link:http://www.nps.gov/history/maritime/nhlpa/noas2008.htm

After reading it I have a few questions/speculations:

It says "Buffalo Harbor". Would that be the 1903 light we refer to as the Buffalo Harbor South Entrance Light, or the more modern 1961 light?

East Charity Shoal. A great history, but not the flashiest of structures. Will it gain interest for adoption? Will Vermillion want original its light back?

Great to see "Lil red" on the list. I'm sure Alpena will be glad to take care of its beloved beacon, especially being the home of the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival.

Kenosha pier head is on the list as well. It would be great to have two accessible lighthouses in Kenosha. I wonder if the museum will apply.
