Not as easy as St Valentines, this topic needed expansion of sorts ...

I'll take up the challenge!

Technically not green, but floodlit green at night

And appropriately enough, from Dublin, Ireland by feileacan

Sorry it had to be just links, the img function doesn't seem to want to work for me. Or at least not with Flickr.

I did a quick look at this web site and what it offers.

1. I was not at all impressed with the tiles.
2. The price for them is way, way too steep, 25.00 for one small tile.

it's funny but there are two green painted lighthouses in Dublin harbor. They are only about a mile or so apart on the north side of the channel. The one that Sue linked to is called North Bank, just a little further down the channel is North Bull. There is also a Red lighthouse just across the channel from North Bull called Poolbeg. Really interesting to be able to see 3 lights that close together.

Eric,

I got to see all three of them in 2006 while on a cruise. I woke up the morning we docked in Dublin and had the North Wall Quay lighthouse literally right outside our stateroom.

Here's a shot I took of North Bank on the way out of Dublin-

Here's one of Poolpeg the next LH we passed-

and finally one of the North bull LH-

Here are some others that fit the topic of St Patrick's Day LH's.

This was also taken on the Cruise in 2006. It's one of the Lighthouses that mark the opening to the inner harbor of LeHavre, France-

Nouvelle Digue Sud

This one may stretch the topic just a bit-

Here's a shot of just the Statue of Liberty-

Here's a photo of the pier lights at Kronenberg Castle in Denmark- again from the 2006 cruise.

Here's a shot of the entrance to Copenhagen Harbor taken on the cruise as well.
