Dennis,

We took a harbor sightseeing cruise out of Dublin from Poolbag marina. As our guide said "Our first lighthouse is right on the other side of the boat." The marina is just out of the frame of you photo, across the river from the lighthouse. We saw 11 lighthouses from the water that morning. We went as far north as Rockabill. The trip was well worth the money.

Eric,

We had little free time in most ports on that cruise. I would have loved to do that cruise. We were back in dublin about a year later but were only there 1 1/2 days and with non-lighthouse people.

Well we had a little more time. We were there for 17 days and everyone in the group was a lighthouse person. We visited 89 or 90 lighthouses all around Ireland. Best trip ever!

When the drums go bang, the cymbals clang, the horns will blaze away,
MacCarthy puffs the ould bassoon while Doyle the pipes will play;
Oh! Hennessy Tennessy tootles the flute, my word 'tis something grand,
Oh! a credit to Ould Ireland, boys, is Macnamara's Band!

...
What's the old expression ... "like it once, love it twice" First
image timed out ... rest are still there from last year ...
"There are two pips in a beaut, four beauts in a lulu,
Eight lulus in a doozy, and sixteen doozies in a humdinger.

No one knows how many humdingers
there are in a lollapalooza."
