Lighthouse Digest, a monthly lighthouse history and news magazine, has stepped forward to help the financially strapped Maine Lighthouse Museum in Rockland.

Tim Harrison, editor and publisher of the magazine, which is published in Maine and has world-wide circulation, said effective at once they will donate $10.00 from each new paid subscription for the magazine to the Maine Lighthouse Museum that is ordered through its web site at http://www.LighthouseDigest.net.

Dot Black, the interim director of the Maine Lighthouse Museum, said she is excited by the offer and welcomes it wholeheartedly. She said, “Lighthouse Digest has always been generous in helping the museum in many ways in the past, and this is another example of their commitment to help keep our doors open.”
