Hello people, i'm new here and i'm from Portugal.

I want to present you with my region's lighthouse. It's considered to be the tallest lighthouse in the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain), and the third in Europe (if I'n not wrong).

Let me show you some pictures:

Those are some awesome shots, salpicown. Particularly the one looking down. Were you in a paraglider?

Thanks for sharing these, that is one tall (and beautiful) lighthouse. :)

those pictures are not mine, I took them from the internet, sorry :P

I can show you more photos from that town and also from the region and the region's capital town (where I live).

First, a picture from the sky to explain you the geography the region:

http://maps.google.pt/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=40.63532,-8.703575&spn=0.033349,0.158272&t=h&z=13

Than some photos from the lighthouse town and also de beach:

and there where the photo at night was taken:
I don't know the name of the structure in english, but it is 900 meter lenght.

Now my city's pictures:
It is known as the portuguese venice, but it has only two water channels
It's all because the region has an haff-delta

The old railway station:

I do too. It looks like a fort with a castle (lighthouse) in the center.

Beautiful lighthouses, for sure.
