Need suggestions for Pacific Northwest/Oregon trip!

A forum to discuss lighthouses on the West Coast Region of the US
(California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii)

Hi guys,

I know a LOT of you have been to the Oregon and Washington lighthouses. I will be making a 10 day trip out there the last two weeks of April and want to see as many lights as I can!! Matt and I went to Seattle for part of our honeymoon in October of 1997, and it's the only time I've been there. I've seen Point Wilson, Mulkiteo, and Admirality Head, but of course, would like to reshoot those as well. My sister and brother in law will be in the Olympia area near Fort Lewis, which is a really good central location. One catch - no long hikes or anything physicalyl exerting, due to being 24 weeks pregnant at time of trip. Open to any and all advice, lighthouses or non-lighthouses!

Hi Jen, the boats here. Since you will be in my zone you can drop in, Seabeck is an hour north of Fort Lewis. We do have a lighthouse and coffee. We have the Hood Canal and coffee, and lot to see and coffee. Well I'd be happy to meet you folks. If you wish I can send you some info on this area. :D "boats"

Hey Boats! I will make it a point to stop. I know we will be doing the circle thing through the islands...no coffee for me, never had a full cup in my life, never intend to, but a tall glass of lemonade sounds good! :)

Thanks, guys. Due date is around 8/11 but since I'm planning scheduled C-section it will probably be around 8/1. We're also getting ready to break ground on a new house in March so got plenty to keep me busy!

Staying busy is a good thing, if you don't over do it. Just remember to get plenty of the right foods and plenty of rest for the both of you! And keep us posted through your pregnancy as well! :P

Well knowing all that now will make your visit even better now. Two for the price of one, so thats means more side boys for when you visit. And I will make it a grand visit. I think you will be the first new mom in the group. 10 stars for Jen. Ok I over did it. But my wife and are happy for you. :yay: :yay: "Boats"
