That would be me, Barry! I fly out Thursday morning, April 14, and I won't be home until late on April 25. North Head is definitely on my list to hit. I'm doing an overnight trip for the Oregon lights, and an overnight trip for Olympic peninsula, and the other lights around Washington will be via day trips from my sister's place near McCord AFB. Weather permitting, I'm also planning on taking my mom up for an airplane ride over the San Juan Islands and doing an aerial tour of some of Washington's Island lights. I can't WAIT for this trip!!

I'll be patiently awaiting your report on your trip.

Esther and I will be doing some of the same Lighthouses in June. We'll be taking 3 days to drive from Seattle to Seattle stopping at all of the Oregon Lighthouses along the way.

We'll be in the Seattle area for two days after that and I hope to get to some of the Lighthouses in the area then. We were originally planning on going to Vancouver also but decided to finish up Oregon Lighthousing instead.

We'll save Vancouver & Victoria for another trip.

We honeymooned in Seattle/Victoria back in 1997. The only lighthouses I was able to hit at that point in time were Admirality Head, Point Wilson, and Mulkiteo, so this will be pretty much an all new territory trip for me. I'm planning on shooting mostly digital, since most of my shots will be daytime, but I'm hoping to get a sunset at Heceta Head and possibly North Head or Cape Disappointment. I will probably be shooting some slides if I'm able to get any nice color. All it's done is rain out there the last couple weeks - I'm hoping it works it all out of it's system by the time I get out there. However, this trip isn't all lighthouses. I'm also planning on hitting several waterfalls, which are actually best done in overcast conditions, and I'm really after some nice snowy mountain scenes from Hurricaine Ridge in Olympic National Park and also some Mount Rainier scenics as well. Maybe I should have gone longer than 11 days!

I will be sure to post a full report when I get back.
