Tillamook Head Lighthouse, Oregon

This was actually my first lighthouse of the day - after the helicopter exercise. I stopped at Ecola State Park for the views. Absolutely stunning scenery. I did also drive down to Inidian Head Beach, but did not stay due to time. An area I definitely want to get back to and shoot a sunset! Tillamook sits over a mile offshore, so these were about as good as I could get with my 70-200 lens and a 1.4x converter.

Jen,

While I liked the shot framed by the crisscrossing trees and boughs, the B&W picture is a real nice touch ... it appears almost layered ...
