I should know this because I live along the Oregon Coast but........What is the name of the Lighthouse (I believe it's one of those up the North Coast) that people are buried at or can buy space to be buried at? I remember hearing about this on tv awhile back and was just wondering which one it is. Anyone know? Thanks.

I think you are referring to Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. I believe the only people buired there served as merchant marines. I could be wrong about that.

There is no restriction on whose ashes can be interred there.

Here's a link to a site about it-

That's it. Thank you. (I was in line today at a store behind a woman who was purchasing a model Oregon Lighthouse and she told me it was Cape Meares - one that I'm not familiar with and I wasn't sure if that was the burial place one and at the time I didn't really want to ask her). Evidentally, Cape Meares and Tillamook Rock are close but not the same. Thanks again for helping me set that one straight.
