Pt Pinos is a spectacular place to visit and is indeed full of history. The lighthouse grounds, unfortunately, are generally closed at sunset. I was, however, fortunate enough to have a kindly docent agree to meet me at sunset one evening to photograph the light. The photo ops are stunning, IMO and worth the effort and a donation to the lighthouse to thank the docent for his kindness.

I like the first one as you can see many details of the lighthouse.
President of Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation, Godfather of Jones Point River Lighthouse, member and EVP of Florida Lighthouse Association and member of other lighthouse groups.

That is a very picturesque lighthouse, and I like each shot for it's own unique quality.
