Who can definitively say there is no one in charge in keeping
that reflective pool irrigated. Who here hasnt felt
compelled to take that picture?

I think just about everybody who goes to Pemaquid gets this photo.

Well matbe not everybody- but it is a well documented view. I've taken this shot at least 3 times over the years myself.

When I was in Maine in 2006, I passed by Pemaquid (it was almost sunset, and I felt like heading back to Portland), and seeing all these shots make me regret it. As much as it is "overdone", they are still very enjoyable to view. Oh well, maybe on my next trip.
