Good Morning ...

Just returned from vacation ... started in Pensacola and headed west .. here are a few

The light at Tchfuncte River ... despite admonitions of "a distant view" and the threat posed by a closed road,
the view was a good one and Im so glad I attempted the visit
Image

Southwest Reef ... transported to Berwick, La, about 90 miles west of New Orleans ... supposed one of only
two lights of this kind
Image

Point Ponchatrain ... badly in need of some love
Image
There are two pips in a beaut, four beauts in a lulu,
eight lulus in a doozy, and sixteen doozies in a humdinger.
No one knows how many humdingers there are in a lollapalooza.

Nice photos Barry. I've always liked the look at the Point Ponchatrain-type lights.
