Barry, all really great info. Thought you might be interested in the Dpreview review. Sony DOES have Zeiss glass - nice stuff!

Well, you just climb over the rail and... ahhhhhhhh... THUD!

Point well taken.

What I have done when I can't get back far enough is to shoot overlapping images and stitch them together. But I keep a 19-35mm in my bag, that usually solve my problem.

I believe you have a 10mm, now thats wide bordering on fisheye.
