Congratulations, Tammy!

A forum to post any lighthouse pictures you'd like others to see. Feel free to talk about lighthouse photography. Lighthouse-related photos (such as LSS and lenses) are also welcome.

Got my April edition of Lighthouse Digest yesterday. Congratulations to one of our frequent fliers, Tammy Wolfe!

She placed first in the "Most Unique View of a Lighthouse" category for her aerial photo of Cape Flattery Lighthouse in Washington. Tammy has posted the photo before, I believe.

For her winning photo, Tammy receives a LD Gift Basket. The overnight stay at Race Point Lighthouse was won by Eric Johnson of Bethal Park, Pa., for what I would consider a quite dynamic view of Portland Head Lighthouse -- a shot from the ocean, no less.

Anyway ... Here's the list of winners.

Best View of a Lighthouse
1st -- Eric Johnson, Bethal Park, Pa., for Portland Head Lighthouse
2nd -- Adam Grim, Savage, Minn., for Heceta Head Lighthouse (Oregon)
3rd (tie) -- Mike McKinney, Richardson, Texas, for Point Retreat Lighthouse (Alaska) and Pam Foster, South Haven, Mich., for Tybee Island Lighthouse (Georgia)

Most Unique View of a Lighthouse
1st -- Tammy Wolfe, Lake Elmo, Minn., for Cape Flattery Lighthouse (Washington)
2nd -- Adam Grim, Savage, Minn., for Sturgeon Bay North Pierhead Lighthouse (Wisconsin)
3rd -- Jim Wolfrum, Camden, Maine, for Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse (Maine)

Best View of a Lighthouse in Wintertime
1st -- Steven Huyser-Honig, Grand Rapids, Mich., for Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse (Michigan)
2nd -- Cheryl Walberg, St. Joseph, Mich., for St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouse (Michigan)
3rd -- Mark Bertieri, Germantown, Wisc., for Sherwood Point Lighthouse (Wisconsin)
HM -- Mike McKinney, Richardson, Texas, for Eagle Harbor Lighthouse (Michigan)
HM -- Mark Bertieri, Germantowon, Wisc., for Sturgeon Bay North Pierhead Lighthouse (Wisconsin)

Thank you!! Looks like Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin lighthouse photographers did well this year.

I sent in two aerial photos of Cape Flattery. So, I'm not sure which one they chose. They were similar to the one Ross chose for the lighthousing.net calendar but were vertical/portrait. I don't have either of them uploaded, but here's a landscape version.
