OK, so once in a while I do photograph in the daylight

A forum to post any lighthouse pictures you'd like others to see. Feel free to talk about lighthouse photography. Lighthouse-related photos (such as LSS and lenses) are also welcome.

I got down to Daytona on Friday morning, picked up the rental car and went to Ponce de Leon to photograph. When I got to the inlet the sky was clear, blue, and booooorrrrrring :!:

As the day wore on, some clouds started to drift in...

Late in the afternoon a storm was obviously building to the north and drifting south...

A little after that it was shooting patters of the water blowing around the sides of the lighthouse...

You know, Gary ... it is OK to shoot during the day once in a while. LOL 8O

Besides, you do a nice job with those day shots, too. 8)

You can have all the clear blue sky days you want, Ross... I'll take the days with scattered cumulus and/or storms :!:

The clouds definitely made the scene more interesting. The fence shot is really cool, I bet you got all giddy when you saw that fence!!!!
