County Fair time again...

A forum to post any lighthouse pictures you'd like others to see. Feel free to talk about lighthouse photography. Lighthouse-related photos (such as LSS and lenses) are also welcome.

Kris, Donna & I entered the county fair again this year. We'll enter the state fair in a few weeks.

There's one lighthouse and a keeper's house in here, so I'll stick it in this section....

Larry ...

Wow ... still another way we here in Ross' community mark the passage of time ... another year ... the county fair ...

Kristin has a wonderful eye ... while I'll wonder who "Martha" may be, the creation of "Main Street" captured me immediately ...

Congratulations on the successes you relayed here ... Best of luck to you and yours at the State Fair as well ...

Wow I loved the one of the pink flower. You have a very talented family. Do you enter your work at other places?

Again the flower picture - it is just wonderful.

A talented family, indeed! At 17, Kris has a promising future in the fine arts world. Her work has a lot of depth, perspective, and interest! I hope that she sticks with it!
Thanks for the post, Larry!

Stick with it she is! She starts at Maryland Institute College of Art in three weeks.

And Barry, "Martha", as in Stewart. In one of her art classes last year she was called Martha. As well as being gifted in the fine arts, she is crafty as too.

Congratulations to each of you! So much wonderful talent in one family...Wow!

The old keeper's house is at Captain Charlies Station on Bald Head Island, isn't it?

Looking a little deeper, I'm guessing the glue gun should have been the tip-off ....

Congratulations once again, Larry and family!!

Is the keepers' quarters in the photo from Bald Head Island? It sure looks like one of them!

It is indeed Captain Charlies on Bald Head Island.

God we loved that place (even though we almost burned our condo down and didn't get our security deposit back....but that's another story)! I'll have to get working on the pictures I took while we were there. I just haven't had much time to really sort through them well.
