Certainly not as good as having a real hood, but if you have a lens with no hood it's better than nothing. I wonder how well they actually stay put on the lens though....

I subscribe to Tip of the Day, Cool Site of the Day and News of the Day newsletters. The Weekly Newsletter basically covers the entire week of the above if you would rather. I enjoy the 3 I mentioned :-)
