Does anyone know anything about the Nikon D50? I have a line on a used one, with lens, software etc for $350. I currently use a Nikon 6006 35mm and can't afford a new digital camera.

I'd appreciate any info you may be able to share.

I have never used a D50 so I can't comment on it.

It's a discontinued model, but what I've heard is that it is a decent DSLR for the money. Check out the review on Ken Rockwell's site, he's usually pretty accurate on his reviews.

The D50 is similar to the D70 in all but a few things. I work with someone that just got one and he loves it so far. It's not as heavy as the D70 or D200, but it has many of the same features. Check out all those sites that the guys posted, those are sites that I frequent as well.
