I've been going through my aurora images from back in 2004 and I found this shot that I never looked at before. This is straight out of the scanner folks, just a little basic processing was done with brightness & saturation.

Rorschach Redux ...

A Pirate?

A bunny rabbit with a mustache?

A negative image of my grand dad?

I give up ... but whatever you might see, well ...

Thanks, Mike ... cool post to come home to ...

WOW! That is Spooky! Reminds me of a Star Trek episode with the aliens watching.

THAT"S IT !!!!! Suzanne, I knew this reminded me of something specific, and it's an episode of The Next Generation.

Since I couldn't remember the specific episode, it took an hour of scouring my favorite trek resources, but I found the entity; a spaceborne being called Nagilum. (It was episode 202 - Where Silence Has Lease for anyone who's interested)

Cute, aint he. Thanks Suzanne, that was driving me nuts.

Now that I know the alien's name, I don't have to title this shot "Full Martin Over St. Joe". :D
