Bored....here's some pics

A forum to post any lighthouse pictures you'd like others to see. Feel free to talk about lighthouse photography. Lighthouse-related photos (such as LSS and lenses) are also welcome.

With the 70° weather we had for a couple days recently I have a strong yearning to go to the OBX for a weekend...actually to pack up and live there. Anyway Tim got promoted to a manager at FedEx but unfortunately he got screwed with being offered a night position.....something he did not want but if he didnt take it he'd be "blacklisted". Long story but anyway it leaves him working EVERY Saturday now for a year (with exception of a couple vacations) and me home alone all night and rarely a chance to go on long weekend trips to the OBX that I had planned to do in 2008.

Anyway here's some of my pics I really like from this past October trip

Hi Michelle ...

Thanks for sharing each and every one of these ... That first set, just spectacular!

Agreed, that first set has some great shots. The pelicans in the sunset is just about perfect.

Sorry to hear about the big promotion...

Thanks guys :). I'm hoping we get to go to the OBX February. Also I am selling my xti which is only 8 months old for a 40D which is something nice to look forward to. I should have it in a couple weeks. If anyone is interested in buying the xti let me know. Its in excellent condition and I've taken about 7000 pics with it. It's for the body only and comes with all original items...box, software, cables etc. I would like to get $450 which includes shipping.

I like all the pictures, especially the sunrises and the lightening.

Nice stuff!

Love the clouds in the lighthouse photo. Looks like a backdrop.

The pelican sunset photo is cool.
