Odd place to see a photo of mine

A forum to post any lighthouse pictures you'd like others to see. Feel free to talk about lighthouse photography. Lighthouse-related photos (such as LSS and lenses) are also welcome.

I was up at an ungodly hour the other morning watching WBZ news (a Boston CBS affiliate i believe) and they went to commercial... when they returned, they do what all news programs do and have a montage of local flavor photos before cutting to the newscasters... Well I see a lighthouse zip by that's unmistakably Boston Lighthouse. With today's DVR cable boxes, Iwas able to rewind and replay it several times, as it looked like one of mine, and sure enough it is. I'm on several stock photo sites and I figure it came from one of those.

The photo is the one that adorns the lighthousing.net logo on the top left of the page!

Congrats Ross. Hope the usage via the stock photo agency is rewarded.

Just look at the ways we can leave your foot print in life in the area you live in, people know your work, they know the person, they are happy to know you or of you, and you make people happy by doing the kind of work you do. Good job Ross, you've made your mark. The best part is you had fun doing it, so enjoy seeing your own work, I do. :D "Boats"..

That's even cooler than finding it on a flier hanging in the local library!
