This past week I was able to sneak away and spend a couple of days in the Leelanau County / Traverse City, MI area. I was hoping to get some fall color shots, and figured there was no better place than there... I was right. I was able to make the trip during the peak of color season, and the weather was nearly perfect. Here's what I was able to get.

Again from M-22, I think closer to Empire

Great shots Hersh. Reminds me of Canberra, our National Capital City in Autumn (Fall). There are a lot of deciduous trees there and the colours are absolutely beautiful in March/April, just like in your photos. Boy do they make a mess though.

Good news and bad news, Hersh... great pictures but they remind me that I have to rake my yard! :)

Our autumn colors already passed peak, sort of early this year, I didn't get much time to get out. Nice work!

Made me homesick also, Hersh. Beautiful photos. I especially like the second one. Lovely composition.
