A good story about the CG taking part in life-saving drills at the Chicamacomico LSS.

The Beach Apparatus Drill Reenactment is on the schedule for every Thurs. at 2 P.M. Chicamacomico closes for the winter after Nov. 24. If you are planning a trip to the NC Outer Banks, please go see this. It's recommended that you contact them before hand to confirm the status of the event you want to see. 252-987-1552 or email chicamacomico@earthlink.net

This drill has been missed for the last five years and we are so thankful to the Coast Guard for making it possible once again.

Great article, Stephen. Thanks so much for posting it!

I was looking over their summer schedule and there are lots of great events to attend. I especially want to catch one of the CG drills!
