LSS gets a lift

When Christina and I were out on the OBX two weeks ago, we were shocked, yet joyed as we drove across the Bonner Bridge to find that work was being done to restore the Oregon Inlet LSS. The sand has been moved back from the structure, it has been lifted 10-12' in the air, and the entire exterior has a been renovated.

Indeed, quite a different look.

It is always great to see before and after pictures.
