I hear tell that during WW-2, from a lighthouse an aircraft was shot down. Can any one find the answer to this one. "Boats"

Seems to me I heard something like this once, but I sure can't remember any details.

I don't have a clue, Boats.
Could it have been an Hawaiian Light during the raid on Pearl Harbor?

This is probably not the lighthouse you have in mind, Boats.

The Nab lighthouse, located at the eastern end of the Isle of Wight.

An antiaircraft battery mounted on the tower shot down several German aircraft during the Battle of Britain in World War II.

Well, I know that Jimmy Buffet's plane was shot at from a lighthouse, but this probably isn't the occurance you are talking about.
