I e-mailed the owner of the light about the currentcondition of the structure and what is being (or is going to be) done to repair it and he said that they placed a deck at the top level to stop further erosion of the brick interior and they are exploring other options to eliminate some of the other problems. He also told me that the lighthouses currently shows a light during the dark, though it is purely decorative.
