From TCPalm.com ... and another chance for me to say "Loxahatchee"

Love is tops at lighthouse

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse will be the site for six lucky couples selected to enjoy a 20-minute "Toast at the Top" at the top of the lighthouse on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The Loxahatchee River Historical Society is inviting those couples who wish to celebrate Valentine's Day in this special way to make a reservation at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum by calling (561) 747-8380, ext. 110. If couples get engaged at the top of the lighthouse during this event and choose to then get married at the lighthouse at a later date, a 10 percent discount will be applied to their fee. For information on being married at the lighthouse, log onto www.jupiterlighthouse.org.

The day celebrates the February 1898 event in which Harry DuBois and his blind date, Susan Sanders, climbed the 105 steps to the top of the lighthouse, and where he promptly proposed to her.

Normal operating hours of the lighthouse are Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last tour beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children, with 5 and under free.
Believe those who search for the truth ...
Doubt those who find it ...
