Ahhh yes the first lighthouse I ever contacted via radio. Cape Florida will always have a special place in my heart!!!!!!!!!!

This lighthouse was first saved by a private owner who had a breakwater made to keep the tower from falling into the water. Later the state of Florida got it.
President of Florida Keys Reef Lights Foundation, Godfather of Jones Point River Lighthouse, member and EVP of Florida Lighthouse Association and member of other lighthouse groups.
