What a great idea a lighthouse on a college campus. It is much better than the Huge Tooth Brush that the University of Hartford was offered a few years ago. The Tooth Brush work of art was rejected.

I am a lover of modern, progressive art by the way.

You have to love Claes Oldenburg's ability to create something that is completely out of place - it's eactly what makes his work so much fun!

I thought that the Toothbrush was a great idea. I think they where afraid it would have competed with the huge anchor that marks the entrance to U of H.
