Nice design!

Is this a normal practice in each State to change plates every so often.
We can keep ours forever unless we move to another state. My son in Canberra has my first licence plate on his car as I now live in another State but the plate is still mine and worth about $5,000 now. It's just 3 numbers and I have had it for 52 years.

Kevin, Michigan did that for a while, when they issued special bicentennial plates in 1976. I've seen vehicles driving around with them, but not too many in the last few years. I wonder how many are still out there?

I'm a member of the Automobile License Plate Collectors Assoc. and this plate is nominated for plate of the year for 2007. I will let you know if it wins. Also does MS have a lighthouse association? Just curious......
