In a message from the St. Joseph Historical Society......

As an update on our lighthouse and keepers quarters, the renovation of the second house has been completed and now is home to a gift shop. We are open Wed – Friday 11-5 and Sat 10-4. We are in the process of setting up a mini museum upstairs and anticipate that the tower will be available for climbing in late August.

I love that old picture of San Blas. Also the present tower was moved from its original location, back in 1918.
