Wow. That sure was a great video, even if I was getting a little dizzy from the shots looking down from the catwalk. In fact, I even wanted to grab the one young man and pull him back. :D

Thank God for the people who care enough to bring these treasures back from the brink of complete destruction. And thank YOU, Robert, for sharing the video! What an amazing piece of work.

I love many lighthouses, but the grounds at Currituck Beach are my absolute favorite. The setting, the trees, the buildings, everything together makes this lighthouse the total package! And having finally climbed it last year, I can attest that while the view from the top is quite dizzying (word??), it is truly spectacular and not to be missed.
