Congress completed a bill today that includes expansion of Everglades National Park and preservation of the historic Jupiter Lighthouse.

Having read information about this bill and several articles about the Everglades project there seems to be nothing here in the way of actual funding for preservation of this lighthouse. This bill supports a significant project previously commenced to restore water to areas of the park continually over many years going dry, water having been diverted as a result of commercial and residential development and associated roads and drainage ditches.
