I'd like to know where they got that information! :roll: I'm sure there are hundreds of lights that are still active aids to navigation.

Maybe she meant the County ??? Or State of Florida ??? Or.......

Maybe depends on what "Historical Documents" she was referencing ???

I think she meant Light Station. The light from the Spanish tower was transferred to the current Lighthouse Tower before the old tower fell. They did try to save the old lighthouse, but mother nature won that battle.
