I tried to visit this light on my way to Hatteras last month but due to severe fog around the area, I couldn't see anything! Even 5 feet in front of my car was a complete blur.

I was at least happy to see that there was a huge billboard mentioning the lighthouse replica before I hit the area.

It looks almost identical to Roanoke Marshes and RR. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm on Eastern Shore!

I just wished I could have seen it on my last trip. I've never seen fog so dense but it cleared up right by the Bridge-Tunnel entrance. Guess I'll just have to go back that way on my next OBX trip. Which, might be sooner than I previously thought!
