Costume aside, not a bad article about the spirit of the "Challenge" ... from nj.com ...

I was at East Point volunteering for the challenge on Saturday until about 2 PM and there again on sunday from about Noon until 6 PM and I did not see anybody in a Lighthouse costume- and nobody mentioned such a person to me.

Esther and I did a mini-challenge. Saturday we went to Hereford, Absecon and did the night climb at Cape May (well Esther climbed. I took pictures)

We stopped at Barnegat on our way home monday afternoon.

We had about 1300 visitors over the 2 days at East Point.

Well that explains it- he only got to 5 out of 11 of the Lighthouses on the Challenge. The furthest South seems to be Absecon.

I felt sure that if he had shown up at east Point either I would have seen him or somebody would have mentioned him.

Looks like I missed a good one, although I did climb Abesecon and Tuckerton this past August so I can 't complain.
