I know that Eatons Neck Lighthouse is on an active USCG Station. Does anyone know if there is access to view the light? Who to call?

I'll be on Long Island next week, and hope to see as many LI Lighthouses that I can. So, any information is helpful.

Thanks!

Eaton's Neck is an active Coast Guard Station, so you need to call ahead to make a date to visit the Light Station. The day I went, they had a group tour which some auxilary members took us on. We were not able to climb the light, but were able to take plenty of pictures. It still has it's third order lense which is a real bonus. RED

Hey Robert,

Have a great time on Long Island. Call the CG ahead of time as suggested. Should work fine. Call me if there's a communication problem there...you have my cell phone #. I can help get you through the channels.

Fire Island and Montauk...my favorites on LI. Oh my! Can't wait to see your photos of all.
