From The Hartford Courant

Preservation grants could help create a historic district in Hartford, restore a lighthouse in Norwalk and rehabilitate churches throughout the state.

The projects, in 20 towns and cities, will be funded by $325,260 from the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, said Todd Levine, the trust's preservation services officer. He said that the grants involve a collaboration among the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, the Connecticut General Assembly, the Connecticut Humanities Council and the Commission on Culture and Tourism.
