Tickets for Spring Event on Sale; Order Yours Now
The Foundation’s Spring Fundraiser cocktail party and auction takes place on Saturday, April 18, from 7 to 10 pm at the Lewes Yacht Club. If you haven’t already purchased your tickets, do it now. Mail the form below, along with your check for $35 per ticket to the Foundation at the address on the form. If there isn’t time to get the tickets mailed back to you before the event, they will be held for you at the door the night of the event.

The list of auction items is impressive. You’ll have a chance to bid on several full-week stays at ocean-front condos; some weekends or other nights in places like The Inn at Canal Square and Dover Downs; brunches, box lunches, and gift certificates from wonderful eateries like Beseme, The Buttery, Fin’s, The Cultured Pearl, and others; fishing trips and boat tours on the likes of The Angler and SkipJack; personal beauty services from tony salons like Bling, Bad Hair Day, and John Lorraine; original art and signed prints from Abraxas, Damon Pla, Celeste Fornicola, Gerilyn Gaskill, and others; jewelry from Bellinger’s and Michele Buckler; books signed by authors — and one signed by the governor! — ; golf packages, auto detailing, tote bags, a portrait sitting with 11 X 14 print, carved shorebirds, a personal tour of a lavender farm, even interior decorating advice! AND MUCH MORE!

So don’t wait, order your tickets today. Come enjoy good lighthouse company, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, door prizes, and an evening of fun. The event also will feature DJ Surf serving up some music, and silent and live auctions.

Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased by sending your check to P.O. Box 708, Lewes, DE 19958. Or call 302-644-7046.

I should be somewhere in North Carolina by then. I won't be making this one but I wish them the best. May they raise a lot of money to support their continued efforts there. If anybody does make it there let us know how it went for them.

Sales for this event have been a little sluggish, we hope to have 100 people at this event. It is a fantastic venue with all sorts of great items to bid on. We would welcome anyone from Lighthousing.net to attend. It is going to be a very nice evening. RED

We had a fantastic event and raised $6,000.00. All our hard work paid very nice dividends, plus we made alot of new friends who will support our mission in the future. This year we have four tours planned, two of them are already sold out. If you are thinking about taking a tour this summer, book as soon as possible as the remaining tickets will not last much longer. RED

Red ... that's great news ... thanks for looping us. Perhaps the Ft Gratiot people could mirror your success.
