On The Way to Hatteras

Just got back from a lighthouse trip? Have you just finished photographing every aspect of one lighthouse? Post the pictures here! Lighthouse-related photos are also welcome.

Excellent--and unusual--angle, Shirin!!! I hope the mosquitoes weren't out in March!!!! They sure were in October...................

Why Leah, that would be from my patented Mud on the Butt angle! Such fun to wallow around in mud. Thankfully no mosquitos though!

Hi Shirin;
I am putting together a scrapbook for OBLHS to use for their presentations. I will have several pages devoted to each lighthouse. I am gathering photos for the Ocracoke pages now. I love the clouds in the Ocracoke photo posted here!! May I include this photo in the scrapbook? Several others from here have offered photos for this project.

If you would rather I not include it, I understand.

Thanks,
Diana

Shirin,

Interseting angle on the Ocracoke photo. Is that a late evening or early morning shot. It can be difficult to tell which it is depening on what time of year you are there.

It was an early evening shot as Beth and I scrambled over to the light to at least get a photo or two with some daylight left. It was hard as it was not one of those nice sunny days so the sun kept going in and out of the clouds. I was just happy to get any shot that would look halfway decent. I liked the clouds in this one though.

Michelle, we'll have to work on this. Maybe there is a way before October.
