Thanks for sharing Shirin! Glad you had a great trip filled with doing what you love!

Oh, and I love the first (Concord with blooms) and Tarry town shot!

Shirin,

I found the mile or so walk out to Turkey Point in the early morning... with just the forest sounds and deer around you ... to be one of the better anticipatory moments in lighthousing.

However, be this blasphemous I don't know, but beyond the light ... more than the lighthouse itself ... standing high on the cliff overlooking the confluence of the rivers and the Cheapeake below ... it can be as close to a relgious experience on earth as one might find.

And for those who might be secularists, it is just one of those vistas that make you realize how small a part man is (woman, too  ) in the scheme of the universe.

Shirin,

As per your usual one shot is better than the next- I think the Tarrytown one is the best of this bunch- but not by much.

Hope to see you at that very Lighthouse in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately I will miss you there Dennis. I'm heading back up to NH and Maine that weekend for the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor sunset cruise, their open house and the Maine Lighthouse Museum opening that weekend. all the good stuff ALWAYS happens on the same weekens. Hate to miss Tarrytown but...
