Just got back from a lighthouse trip? Have you just finished photographing every aspect of one lighthouse? Post the pictures here! Lighthouse-related photos are also welcome.

As we decided to spend one more night in Munising, we started our day going to Grand Marais and working our way back West.

That's a cool looking LSS, I never even knew it was there. Nice shots!

These photos are wonderful. I like the way the blue sky really makes the towers stand out and with the warm lighting from the sun, it makes them even better.

Mike,
That LSS reminds me of the Old Coast Guard station near St. Simons.

I need to look into when this station was built and add it to my site if it was used as a LSS before they merged as the Coast Guard.

Thanks guys,

I wish the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Museum and keeper's dwelling had been open (I think 10 AM) but we were on a mission and could not wait for another hour to do so. It definitely is a pretty area all around Grand Marais.

Is there a web site about this light station?

Stephen

I was not able to find a website devoted to that LSS but here are a couple of links with a little more info:
