Deed received - but don't expect work to begin quickly

Port Huron officials finally received a signed deed for the Fort Gratiot Light Station this week - but don't hold your breath for work on the crumbling tower to begin -the City is insisting on a number of changes to the deed and will be sending it back for modification and reconsideration.

I just read the article and all the replies or comments. As with most newspapers or media you have a group of people who do a great deal of posting. So with this in mind I keep an open mind about what I read. Then it was on to reading other articles in the Port Huron Times Herald. With limited knowledge of what is going on in Michigan, it would seen it is a state having to deal with some very hard core issues and problems.
